Apparently yesterday was the worst day of the year to be sick and in bed.
I knew UNLV tickets were going on sale, but figured I could grab one in the afternoon. The people waiting in line before dawn and mob extending out of the JTSU thought otherwise.
Mackay Stadium figures to be rocking on Saturday with a packed student section. It seems the basketball fever is catching on when it comes to football.
Again, the students deserve props for showing that they care, and whoever made the freshmen understand the importance of this game at orientation deserve credit too.
When it comes to tickets at The University of Nevada, the state’s land grant institution whose long-established academic integrity goes back more than 100 years - the general rule used to be Tuesday is OK for football. Tuesday in basketball means your camping.
After yesterday, the rules appear to be changing.
I guess that means a camping blog is coming Friday night.
