WAC Tourny back in Reno

Nevada is bringing the WAC Basketball Tournament back to Reno.

With the talent the Wolf Pack has coming and developing on the roster already, hosting the tournament has obvious benefits.

The Wolf Pack should have a chance to make another top 10 run in 2oo9 and 2010, and having the tournament in Reno will help the Wolf Pack avoid last season’s catastrophe.

The move is also better for WAC fans in general.

Outside of Ruston, Louis., and Moscow, Idaho, Las Cruces, New Mexico, is the worst site the WAC could have possibly picked. And yet New Mexico State hosted the tournament last year and will host again in the spring.

The travel is brutal with no airport in Las Cruces, there’s limited entertainment, and accommodations aren’t much better.

Reno really is the perfect place to host an event like this.
