Nevada is bringing the WAC Basketball Tournament back to Reno.
With the talent the Wolf Pack has coming and developing on the roster already, hosting the tournament has obvious benefits.

Just checked the athletics Web site, and the Nevada men’s basketball schedule for this season is posted.
Media relations director Rhonda Lundin wrote in an email that the Pack is still looking for one more game to finish the schedule. There are currently 14 road games and 15 home games.

So apparently there’s a fairly significant football game on Saturday.
Nevada has a chance to earn national respect when it plays Nebraska in the Wolf Pack’s toughest game since coach Chris Ault returned the program to respectability.

A couple observations on the Ezra Butler situation.
First, Nevada coach Chris Ault deserves credit for upholding the law and sitting Butler, his best player, against Nebraska for the team’s first game on Sept. 1 for breaking an unspecified team rule.
